We celebrated Mother's Day at Debbie's… we also celebrated Janel's 21st birthday. What? 21? She has grown up right before our eyes over 21 years of Friday nights... I remember Debbie carrying her over here in her car seat like it was yesterday.
I found this cookbook at a church sale for 10 cents.
It's from 1981 and published by Reynolds Wrap. It's a collection of soul food/comfort food from African American home cooks. I made the mac and cheese and it wasn't too bad.
