THE LITTLE PLASTIC CASTLE IS A SURPRISE EVERY TIME
Glo has been on the second floor for a couple months while they were renovating the rooms in her hall on the third floor.  She moved back today. It's been kind of crazy.  The move really screwed her (and many others) up. It was too big of a change for many of them. She has been getting worse and worse and me working there is not as good as you would think.  She kind of gets a little agitated when she sees me with someone else and she gets annoyed when she can't find me (if I'm off.)  She'll ask the nurses where her "nephew" is.  She's back to confusing genders again.  She had a full blown hissy fit a couple weeks ago... screaming in the hallway that she wanted to go home. I had to tell her that she didn't have a home anymore and all she said was she'll be good and come to my home and sleep in my bed. She said she'll get a job if she has to.  I told her I don't have a home anymore either and that I'm living with my dad now.  She asked if my dad was "the lady that cooks in the kitchen when she comes over."  I told her yes!

We planned for her to move back to her original room while I was working so I could be there and she wouldn't be so frazzled.  I ended up moving her myself. I had her help me and we filled some bags up.  I made a trip upstairs and when I came back down she actually unpacked some bags thinking she was staying where she was! When we went upstairs, she had no idea she was there before. The good thing is her girlfriends are all up there (for now) so she has others to visit.  She's just been completely out of it.  She keeps saying she wants to get a job so we have been bringing her around with us to deliver the mail and the girls have been making her sort things in the office.  She said she feels better now that "she's working."  :-)

She keeps saying that my mom hasn't been coming around as much.  She was coming every day and now she doesn't.  She also said she has kids with her when she comes which kind of freaked me out. I asked her who they were and she said they were my kids. I keep asking her if she means Lily and she says no - the other ones. I'm just as confused with that one as she is.  I can't figure out what she's talking about but she's saving candy she gets and tries to give it to me to bring home to "the kids."

Every time she sees me she asks how my mother is. I told her the other day that my mother is dead  - it's been 20 years... not that she knows 20 years from 20 minutes. She seemed shocked and then sad and then was like whatev.  Five minutes later she walked me to the elevator as she always does and we said goodbye and as the elevator doors were closing she said see you tomorrow - say hi to your mom when you get home! ;-)

I MAKE THE POWER OF NOW LOOK LIKE THE POWER OF THEN

Don't get me wrong... I like my Kombucha and burn my sage, among other things, but these videos in this article crack me up. ;-)

PLAYING DRESS UP

Did you see this little girl that makes dresses with her mom? I can't.  Seriously.  That shark... and that Minnie Mouse photo?! So cute.

Visit Mayhem's website and her mom's Instagram for more cuteness.

SNACK ATTACK
You know this bag clearly states on the front that there are 96 calories in a cup but I think it really should say 720 because it's definitely a single serving sized bag. ;-) I can't stop buying this. I have back up bags in the china closet and behind the bar in case I run out.

FOLLOW YOUR (HE)ART
After almost 4 years... we signed the divorce papers today... ;-(  Cara's boyfriend wanted to take me to dinner but I declined.  It was a sweet gesture but I really didn't feel like celebrating.  Instead, I did what I do best... I went straight to Marshall's and TJMaxx out there. I went to Portman's and the SHV Giant Eagle.  We all know I'm obsessed with grocery stores. It was like going home. I miss the South Hills.  I wasn't as sad as I thought I would be.  Not that I was happy... I'm not quite sure what I was. I went to Sonic and got a Rt 44 unsweetened iced tea with cranberry. My fave. It was the first time ever that I got that size... It was literally the size of my head.  I had to stop and take a selfie but I'm not real good at that so I didn't really get my self in the shot.

Today starts Kelly Rae Robert's e-course.  Perfect start to a new beginning. I took KRR's business course years ago and squealed like a little piglet when she offered this class.  I found this tiered basket in HomeGoods in State College a few weeks ago and knew it was the perfect piece to start getting my work space in order...

If you see the other side of this room it's enough to make you throw up but I got one section somewhat organized!

It's a start.

Here's to new beginnings.

DELIVER ME IN A BLACK WINGED BIRD
Every time I let the dog out I think an asteroid is going to come down and hit us or that smoke thing from Lost is going to follow me back in the house. I've talked about my fascination with the ring of ghost children I have... When I hear a noise behind the fence I think a grizzly bear or a pack of wolves or a group of vikings are are on their way up the hill.  I've been bringing my phone out with me in case I fall into a sink hole. I have a problem. I have some pretty big irrational fears regarding taking the dog out. ;-)

There was a weird occurrence today around 7am.  I was sleeping and heard a commotion outside. I looked out the window to find about 100 crows in the tree behind the fence. They were talking up a storm. Yesterday, I unearthed all the poop that was out there from not picking it up in the snow.  I gathered all the bags in the middle of the yard and went inside to get a big bag and got distracted by something else and never went back out.  They were left in the middle of the yard all night.

Did I freak the crows out?    Maybe they thought it was a giant dead poopy crow.   There used to be an owl out back but I haven't heard him lately... maybe there was a predator out there. Are they trying to tell me something? It was a little freaky and kind of mesmerizing.  My phone was on the charger in the living room so by the time I ran in to get it and came back they were all going their separate ways.  I never got a shot of them all gathered together... just a few of them flying away. ;-(
