INTO THE WOODS

I'm still trying to download pictures from Deep Creek. My iphoto is full and I'm going through it to delete some pictures so I can make room for what's on my camera. I just deleted enough to download the 196 that were on my phone! That was a difficult task... this may take me awhile.

Anyway, Lily and I came across some neat trees there. I wonder who lives here... I pictured some little winged fairies fluttering in and out of there as the stars came out at night.
Soft moss a downy pillow makes, and green leaves spread a tent,
Where Faerie fold may rest and sleep until their night is spent.
The bluebird sings a lullaby, the firefly gives a light,
The twinkling stars are candles bright, Sleep, Faeries all, Good Night.
~ Elizabeth T. Dillingham - "A Faery Song"
