To me, there are few things better than opening the package and taking the first bite of this...
I was back in Oakland this morning for an appointment... after, I found myself driving through the Fort Pitt tunnels and didn't quite know where I was going... I ended up at the place that made the most sense... TJ Maxx in Bridgeville! ;-)

I drove around the shopping center and looked at all the changes... went to Sonic for a large, unsweetened iced tea with cranberry... drove by Kmart and Home Depot to look at the flowers they had out... I think, after being so crazy the last few weeks running around from appointment to appointment, I just needed something normal... even though this hasn't been my normal for awhile.
I continued on and ended up at Portman's. Part of me probably thought that if I just kept driving I could drive right past next Thursday. It was grilled cheese day so I went and ordered one of those while they were cutting my ham. There was an old lady waiting for hers... After I ordered she asked if I had someone at home. I didn't quite know what she was talking about and I'm sure I looked confused. She said they were really big so I could share it with someone if I wanted. I just kind of nodded and smiled and, while we waited for them to be grilled, she started talking to me about some flowers she planted this morning.
I got in the car, opened the ham and added some to my sandwich. I only ate half of it. Even though I cried the whole way back here, it was a nice lunch.
