These political conventions just crack me up... is anyone really going to be swayed by any of this rhetoric? I don't think so. I can't help but think of the SNL skit making fun of Oprah's Favorite Things show where the audience is crying and people's heads are bursting into flames over the thrill of it all. It's nice to hear what we want to hear - in politics and everything else. When you take everything for face value - it all sounds spectacular... How much of it is the truth, though?
